[Fuck You and Your Opinion]

Insulting people isn't funny, even if it's acting, but I guess a portion of the internet would disagree with me. Youser has voice, but for the first 45 seconds their much acting. The quality steps up several notches after that. My advice would be to stick to the music since you guys are much better at that. And if you have an intro, make it short so people don't get tricked into thinking it's solely a voice acting piece (like I initially did).

I think you kind of missed the point.
This is supposedly a response to stupid trolls that say things that stupid trolls say. It's not meant to be just a song. The little skit is meant to emphasize that, but I guess it failed, considering your comment. If you listen to Psychostick, you'll find a lot of their songs are like this too.

It's quite a relief that you didn't take this down. I personally like the synthetics more than the strings because it sounds more personal and unique, but that's just me.

Hmm..

I can't quite place words on the quality of your music. First off, the build-up was nothing short of brilliant. Most songs now-a-days focus on adding layers and layers upon layers, and forget the simple truth. Less is more. The song never got distracting at all. One word of advice though would be to take risks and try some innovation. I know it's hard to build upon a song that's already perfect, but I know you can do it. If i were in a serious relationship with you my life would be complete.

Amazingly good

This song has everything I look for in music. It has a long length, it's fast paced, has powerful sound, a good variety of instruments, not too repetitive, and full of emotion. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this is the best song I've heard in the three years I've been at newgrounds. Keeping that in mind, I can see why others wouldn't like it. Some just won't be able to get past the synthetic feel that the instruments have, and others will find that the lack of a constant, heavy bass beat is a turn-off for a fast paced techno-ish song like this.

I think it works to your advantage though and your musical style is developing very nicely. I do have to comment on the robot voices though. They seem a bit out of place, I mean I don't have a problem with the fact that there are lyrics in this song, it's just that the frequency and tone completely clashes with the rest of the sounds. Just listen to it on half speed (22050 hz) and you'll see what I mean.

On another note, the panning from left to right (and vice-versa) works really well for you. It's hard to describe the emotion that this song creates. It's like relaxing but energetic at the same time. Kinda reminds me of Gravity Limits were it was both melancholy and had an optimistic feel of discovery at the same time. Most music these days are very narrow with the emotions they create, but yours aren't.

Keep up the good work and don't give up on what you're good at. This is just the beginning and I'm sure the population of youtube and newgrounds will find an appreciation for your music soon enough :)

Thanks a lot! I didn't really like the robotic voices either i have to admit XD But i was looking at some FX to make it more interesting and didn't find any that fit. I'm really happy you enjoy my music. I think the lack of hard, fast bass contributes to my lack of following, but i can only make what i like making :P

I'm always thinking of ways I can get more people interested in my music. One of those is I'm constantly experimenting with different genres and sounds. I strive to keep my music different and pique the interest of different listeners. That's why I love it when i can mix different genres and interesting sounds.

Emotion is the base of why music exists. I have always loved the feeling of adventure, action and new discovery you get from reading a good book, watching an amazing scene in a movie, looking at a huge landscape depicted in a picture or listening to a meaning filled song. I'm trying to capture these feelings in every song made. Of course it's hit and miss, I don't have delusions that all my music is good, but I think the quality is always improving :)

As much as I'd like instant fame, I can't force people to like my music. I get feedback and know that I am reaching a few people in this huge world. Its people like you that make it all worth while :)

Keep at it!

You've been getting amazingly good at writing music lately, and this song is a perfect example of your progress. The parts are layered perfectly, and the bass drum doesn't hurt my ears anymore. I like how you don't let your trance songs become carbon copies of others and how they actually have originality in them. I do however have to comment on the name though. I'm mean "my life is good"? C'mon, I know you can do better than that. More like "elation" or something like that. Good job I don't know what to critique really, it's just so amazingly good. Top 5 of trance definitely, best you've made so far.

Rd. 2 and the original were better

The previous versions of this song sounded clearer and not as messed up. There are certain sections of this song were the bass drum just completely ruins it and makes it hard to listen to, and I personily liked the sound of the piano better than the synth you used this time around. Although I'd like to say that the ending bit sounded pretty cool. Don't get me wrong, I love your music, but this one was just kinda messed up.

How was it messed up? Dont get me wrong I appreciate harsh reviews because they give me something to work for, but I think the amount of time I spent on it deserves a better explanation than "it was messed up"

Take Karco's review for example. He said each and everything that was wrong and gave me alternatives. Thats how you respectully give harsh criticism. I'm not trying to sound mean here, just think of it from my view. You spend six weeks+ on a song and someone simply says "Man, that sounded messed up, your other stuff is better" Basically like saying this was a waste of my time.

[The Revival]

Surprizingly good

This is a very nice song, it can fit many themes which is good. Although it seems that at 3.5 seconds (and at every other time that the synth that sounds like wind comes into place) the synth just pops out of nowhere, it would be much better if it gradually came in by starting off quiet and then increasing it's the velocity afterwards. Other than that, it's very well done.
